Originally from Iowa City, IA, Jeff Houghton is a 4 time Emmy Award winning television host. He's also a writer, actor, and improviser. Jeff hosts The Mystery Hour, a syndicated late night talk show he created that is now its 7th season on FOX and ABC affiliates.

Jeff worked for the Late Show with David Letterman and more recently helped to create and star in the viral hit, "Instagram Husband," which now has 50 million views, was covered by the media worldwide, and along the way coined a new phrase. Jeff has worked with national and regional brands to create both humorous and meaningful videos. In addition to Instagram Husband, Jeff wrote and/or starred in the viral hits, Make Something Where You Are, We're FOX 5, Mother Luncher, Mom Text Decoder, Unnecessary Bouncer, Surprise, It's Opera, Jeff and Dave Fix Songs, Everyday Wizard, Missouri is Awesome, and more. Jeff works as on-air talent for FOX 5, and hosts a radio program on 92.9 The Beat.

Jeff travels nationally and internationally hosting events for companies and organizations. He has performed stand up at the Comedy Store, worked with Funny or Die, and trained at the Upright Citizen's Brigade. Jeff was a member of The Skinny Improv mainstage cast for several years where he performed at the home theatre every weekend and traveled the country performing improv.

Jeff was named 417 Magazine's Entertainer of the Year, and Springfield Business Journal's 12 People You Need to Know as well as 40 Under 40. Awards are nice, but kinda dumb in comparison with his wife Michelle and son Elias and Rew.
